My name is Naomi Hambleton. I started this blog as a parent with young children! I am now an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I have a Master of Science in Education and was a Special Education Teacher as well.
I am interested in the subjects of parenting issues around pregnancy, fertility, childbirth, lactation, breastfeeding, pumping, parenting young children, development stages in children, day and nighttime parenting, cultural issues in parenting, special needs parenting, social justice, gender issues and the media discussion of all of the above. I am a self-appointed advocate for all things promoting and uplifting women, children and families.
Not anti-formula, just PRO-breastfeeding!
This blog is in honor of my three children: A, S & Z Knowledge is power – from A 2 Z. 🙂
Information and opinions here are mine alone. If you are in need of medical or breastfeeding help, start locally with an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), a La Leche League, Breastfeeding USA, WIC or other Breastfeeding Counselor. Consider consulting with your or your baby’s health-care provider.
